In “Romeo and Juliet” William Shakespeare tells of the passionate love between Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague. The two families are bitterly enemies and are constantly engaged in violent arguments. Juliet, madly in love with the dashing Romeo, thinks it's just stupid that she should meet Count Paris at a ball. She doesn't like him at all, but her mother thinks he's a good match. Does the love between Juliet and Romeo have a chance?
The Children's Festival tells Sergei Prokofiev's world-famous ballet in a child-friendly version with a happy ending.
