"Mozart's music is so pure and beautiful that I see it as the inner beauty of the universe itself." - Albert Einstein

Musically impressed by his travels to Italy, Mozart 1772 wrote the Divertimenti, in which the Italian way of life and operatic vocals are audible. The Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 3 is a high-contrast, forward-looking masterpiece by the only 19-year-old whose Adagio evokes "heavenly" associations. Mozart's third last symphony in E flat major is one of his symphonic legacies, at the same time temperamental, gloomy, dignified and sublime in character.
