The Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Elisabeth Fuchs are dedicating two particularly fascinating works to the first New Year's Concert at the Felsenreitschule. Philip Glass' "minimalist" music creates a kind of trance-like pull effect on the listener. Nobody can escape the fascination of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" either.
