We love Brahms
Rising Star Tiffany Poon plays Brahms first piano concerto

J. BRAHMS · Piano Concerto No. 1, D minor op. 15
J. BRAHMS · Symphony No. 2, D major op. 73

"I want to inspire all generations!" Tiffany Poon

Brahms did a feat with just 23 years. His first piano concerto is one of the most dense and soloistically demanding of the 19. Century. The young pianist Tiffany Poon faces the mighty 50 minutes. Brahms's second symphony is moving in feeling, artful in motivic development, cheerful and lovely - a symphony that belongs to everyone, not just the connoisseurs. Tiffany Poon was born 1996 in Hong Kong and is a scholarship holder of the Young Artists Foundation founded by Tanja Dorn in Hannover. This concert marks the start of a regular collaboration between the Philharmonie Salzburg and the selected stars of tomorrow.
