At the family concerts and children's festivals of the Philharmonie Salzburg your children and pupils can hear, feel and experience music. With us you are right in the middle of it all.

My child is only 3 years old and does not like to sit still for so long, is it too young?
But on the contrary!
Family concerts are suitable for children between 3 and 10 years and last for 60 minutes. We have the concerts conceived for a young audience and considering a lot of sequences, where children can sing, dance and sometimes even come to us on stage.
Do not children get bored quickly in such a concert with classical music?
So much to marvel and discover!
Each concert tells a story portrayed by actors. The stage design and the large screens provide the pictures. In addition, singers are involved in operas and dancers in ballet productions. All works are played in the original line-up, so every concert has a complete symphony orchestra on stage.
Do you really play in a real concert hall with an entire orchestra? Can you afford a visit at all?

How can I imagine a visit with my kindergarten group or my school cash at the children's festival?
We offer a visit with two modules for your kindergarten or school class.
Module Workshop: The workshop is led by two pedagogically trained musicians of the Philharmonie Salzburg. He offers your class a creative preparation for the concert program. Together, songs or rapeseed, suitable for the concert, rehearsed. The students can try out orchestral instruments in children's sizes. The duration is between 45-60 minutes.
Module Orchestra Concert: The concerts contain an age-appropriate framework. We carefully select the contributors. The elements from the workshop return in concert. You can hear all works in their original version, by our complete Symphony Orchestra of the Philharmonic Orchestra Salzburg under the direction of Elisabeth Fuchs. We have come up with interactive elements for every orchestral concert. Depending on the age of the children, the orchestral concerts 50-70 take minutes.
4You: Our little present: JEach child receives the free CD with the main work and audio samples of instruments. With the CD, the children take home a special piece of musical memory of the children's festival.

How much is the participation per pupil? When will the next children's festival week take place and where can I register?
The Admission workshop week Salzburg: 9,00 Euro per child for workshop + CD + concert / accompanying persons of children groups from 10 persons free. Admission Concert Zell am See: 7,00 Euro per child for concert + CD / escorts of children groups from 10 persons free.
