A Symphonic Tribute to THE BEATLES
Let It Be, Yesterday, Hey Jude with Monika Ballwein and the great choir of the Philharmonie Salzburg
I'm really glad that most of our songs were about love, peace and understanding.
- Paul McCartney
The British beat, rock and pop band The Beatles are still the most successful band in music history. With Come Together, Let It Be and Yesterday, the four young Englishmen with the characteristic mushroom hairstyles created some of the biggest hits of all time in the 1960s. They are regarded as pioneers of pop and rock culture as we know it today. Together with the Austrian Queen of Pop Monika Ballwein, Elisabeth Fuchs and her orchestra revive the greatest hits of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr and give them a glamorous symphonic setting - a real musical treat, not just for fans!
The program includes Eleanor Rigby, Can't Buy Me Love, Here Comes the Sun, Something, Come Together, Yellow Submarine , Help, Lady Madonna, Day Tripper, With A Little Help From My Friends, Blackbird , The Long and Winding Road, All You Need Is Love, Penny Lane, Let It Be, Hey Jude, A Hard Days, Night and We Can Work It Out.
