Terms and Conditions (GTC)
The General Terms and Conditions have legal effect between the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival and visitors to events organized by the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival. Their scope extends to performances organized by the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival itself as well as to all performances for which the Salzburg Philharmonic merely sells tickets.
1. TICKET PRICES
The prices stated in all our publications apply (except for printing errors). In the event of deviations, the prices announced in our ticket webshop apply.
2. dISCOUNTS
Reduced-price tickets can only be purchased if the conditions for the reduction are met and can be proven (for example by presenting a valid ID). There is no legal entitlement to reduced-price tickets, to specific tickets or seating groups. Reduced-price tickets are limited to one per person. Discounts cannot be combined. If a reduction is claimed without authorization, the difference to the full ticket price can be charged or the visitor can be expelled from the performance. In the second case, the purchase price will not be refunded.
2.1 Youth tickets for pupils and students
Pupils and students up to the age of 26 receive reduced tickets for all concerts organized by the Salzburg Philharmonic and the Children's Festival, depending on availability. Tickets must be purchased in person at the day or evening box office of the respective event upon presentation of a valid ID card, or they can also be purchased in the ticket shop on https://www.philharmoniesalzburg.at/is possible.
2.2. Wheelchair
Wheelchair spaces can be made available at a reduced price by telephone arrangement. Wheelchair spaces are allocated according to the priority principle.
3. CARD PURCHASES
Information on purchasing tickets is available from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, by telephone at +43 650 517 20 30, by email at tickets@philharmoniesalzburg.at, around the clock in the online ticket shop at https://www.philharmoniesalzburg.at/ as well as at the day or evening box office of the respective event from 1 hour before the start of the performance.
3.1. pay
If you order by phone: The invoice will be sent to you, the cards will be sent after receipt of payment.
When ordering by email: The invoice will be sent to you, the cards will be sent after receipt of payment.
When ordering in the online ticket shop: Payment by credit card, bank transfer or other common and standard payment methods.
3.2 Expiration of unpaid cards
The right to ordered tickets that have not been paid for (i.e. credited to the Salzburg Philharmonic's account or confirmation of the amount by the credit card company) up to one week before the start of the event will expire.
3.3. Exclusion of postal delivery
From two weeks before the start of the event, tickets can no longer be sent by post but can only be purchased in the ticket shop or at the box office.
3.4. Loss of card
If the card is lost, a duplicate can be made for a processing fee of 5 EURO per reprint. The original card will then no longer be valid.
3.5. Discounts and promotions
When booking with a discount code, you can book discounted tickets/subscriptions depending on the promotion. Please note the validity period of the respective promotion. The discount cannot be applied to tickets or other promotions that have already been purchased or redeemed in cash. The discount code may not be distributed via social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) or otherwise. Booking assistance: Select the number of tickets or desired seats in the shop. Click CHECKOUT, then CONTINUE. At the end of the ordering process, enter your discount code, click APPLY and receive your cards.
It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to check the information on the ticket. If there are any errors, please contact the staff at the Salzburg Philharmonic immediately. Complaints made later cannot be considered.
4. SPECIAL FEATURES ONLINE BOOKING
The ticket shop on https://www.philharmoniesalzburg.at/ offers the possibility to select a preferred seat directly from the seating plan. You can then log in as an already registered user or register as a new user. If you purchase regular tickets, the ticket will be sent to you by email after receipt of your payment.
The ticket must be printed out and brought to the event and presented to the ushers on request or shown using a mobile ticket or PDF on your smartphone. The barcode on the ticket must be printed correctly. Copying or altering the printed ticket is prohibited. Printed tickets cannot be exchanged or returned. Payment in the ticket shop is possible using the payment method you have chosen. Online payments are processed via verified partner companies (Paypal, Stripe) using secure data transfer (SSL). The Salzburg Philharmonic accepts no liability for damage caused by criminal activities or manipulation by third parties.
5. SUBSCRIPTIONS
New subscription orders can also be placed by phone, email and in the online ticket shop.
5.1. Existing subscriptions
For customers with an existing subscription, we have philharmoniesalzburg.at or kinderfestspiele.com You have already set up an account and stored your subscription accordingly. We offer you two convenient options.
We will write to you at the start of the new season and provide you with further information. We will reserve your previous places for you. Once this process is complete, you will receive an order confirmation. You can check this carefully; the purchase is NOT mandatory.
If you would like to extend your subscription for the coming season, please transfer the invoiced amount. If you have any questions or requests for changes, please send us an email to tickets@philharmoniesalzburg.at or tickets@kinderfestspiele.com or give us a call: Mon-Fri, 09:00-12:00 at +43 650 5172030.
We will reserve your subscription for you until April 30th of the year following the booking. If we do not receive a response by May 1st, the usual dunning process (three stages) will be started and you will receive a payment reminder. Here, too, you as a subscriber can cancel your subscription at any time free of charge.
If we have not received any response after these processes, we will cancel the subscription and the associated places.
5.2. Transferability
You can transfer your subscription card to a third party on your behalf to attend individual events.
6. WITHDRAWAL OF TICKETS
Redeemed tickets cannot be exchanged and the purchase price cannot be refunded. No replacement will be provided for tickets that have not been used or have only been used in part, or for lost tickets. Exceptions are deaths and serious illnesses, and each case will be treated individually.
7. CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF PERFORMANCE
If a different work is performed instead of the work whose title is printed on the ticket, or if the performance is cancelled without replacement, customers will receive a full refund of the ticket price or a pro rata refund if an event is cancelled. The refund can also be made in the form of vouchers.
Changes to the line-up and program as well as changes to the start times do not entitle the ticket buyer to return the tickets. If changes occur, the Salzburg Philharmonic will do everything possible within reasonable limits to inform the ticket buyer (by email, SMS, letter or telephone). However, there is no right to information about changes to the line-up and program as well as changes to the start times. Claims for damages against the Salzburg Philharmonic for failure to inform are therefore irrelevant. It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to inform themselves about any changes. If the performance is canceled, a substitute performance will be offered or, if this is not possible, the entrance fee will only be refunded if less than half of the performance has been played at the time of the cancellation.
8. HOUSE LAW
By purchasing the ticket, the visitor acknowledges and submits to the house rules of the respective venue. In principle, the valid ticket must be presented to the audience service staff of the respective venue upon request. Every valid ticket entitles you to attend the performance described on it. Only the seat indicated on the ticket may be occupied. Entry to events of the Salzburg Philharmonic may be refused to persons if there is reason to fear that they will disrupt the performance or harass other visitors. Furthermore, entry may be refused if persons have already disregarded the general terms and conditions at previous performances. Visitors may be expelled from the current performance if they disrupt it, harass others or have taken a seat that was not assigned to them. In this case, the ticket price will not be refunded. The use of mobile phones in the auditorium is not permitted. Bringing food and drinks into the auditorium is also not permitted. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
9. PICTURE AND SOUND RECORDINGS
Visitors are not permitted to make any kind of image or sound recordings in the auditorium. Visitors agree that photos, audio and video recordings made during events can be used for publications by the Salzburg Philharmonic or the Children's Festival at any time and without any claim to financial compensation and do not see this as an infringement on their personal rights that are worthy of protection. The Salzburg Philharmonic always endeavors not to highlight individuals in photo and video recordings, but in individual cases this can still happen.
For contributors of any kind:
Image and sound material created during rehearsals, castings, workshops, competitions and performances by participants of any kind may be published without any further consent. All rights for the use, exploitation and publication of various recordings are transferred to the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival. The image and sound material may be used for illustration, for advertising purposes and for publication on social media.
10. DATA PROTECTION
When making a reservation or ordering, the customer is asked to provide his/her personal data (name, address, telephone number, email address). The Salzburg Philharmonic is granted the right to store this data electronically. The same rule also applies to the data of subscribers to the Salzburg Philharmonic newsletter.
The contractual partner agrees that his/her personal data, such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number, will be processed for the purpose of business processing, invoicing, internal evaluation for marketing purposes and for sending advertising material (by post and/or e-mail) for further projects by Elisabeth Fuchs and/or the Salzburg Philharmonic and that the data may be passed on to business partners for the aforementioned purposes, insofar as this is necessary for business processing.
11. CONTENT OF OUR PUBLICATIONS INCLUDING WEBSITE
All publications of the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra contain an imprint. The use of the texts and images contained therein - even in extracts - is only permitted with the express permission of the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra. The Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra accepts no liability for any errors or defects in its website and print media.
12. LIABILITY
The customer only has claims for damages that result from the violation of the integrity of life, body or health or from the violation of the main contractual obligations, i.e. those whose fulfillment is necessary to achieve the purpose of the contract. Furthermore, liability is also assumed for damages that arise due to an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the Salzburg Philharmonic or its legal representatives. In the case of damages caused by vicarious agents, it should be pointed out that there must be a connection with the contractually owed service in order to be able to assert claims for compensation.
In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, the Salzburg Philharmonic shall only be liable for damages that are typical for the contract and foreseeable if they were caused negligently, unless the customer has claims for damages resulting from personal injury.
13. WITHDRAWAL
The Salzburg Philharmonic does not grant any special rights of withdrawal with regard to the purchase of tickets. It should also be noted that there are no statutory rights of withdrawal within the meaning of the FAGG.
14. SPECIAL RULES AND LAWS
These terms and conditions are governed by Austrian law. The Salzburg Philharmonic reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. Court of jurisdiction is Salzburg.
15. EU DISPUTE SETTLEMENT

16. LIABILITY FOR CONTENT OF THIS WEBSITE
The Salzburg Philharmonic is constantly developing the content of this website and strives to provide correct and up-to-date information. Unfortunately, the Salzburg Philharmonic cannot accept any liability for the correctness of all content on this website, especially for that provided by third parties. 18. EVENTS AS PART OF THE SUBSCRIPTION SERIES “IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ORCHESTRA”
The concerts in this subscription series are private events organized by the Salzburg Philharmonic Association. The purchase of a concert ticket includes a day membership in the Salzburg Philharmonic Association for the day of the event. The day membership expires automatically after the respective concert or subscription series.
Terms and Conditions for the Order of Vouchers
- SCOPE

- CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
The presentation of items on our portal is always a binding offer aimed at concluding a contract with the customer, which the customer accepts by placing an order. The contract for the purchase of a voucher is concluded when the customer first indicates during the ordering process whether they would like a print@home voucher or the voucher to be sent by post. For postal delivery, an additional charge of 5 EURO applies. The voucher with the desired value is then placed in the shopping cart. The customer can see the total of all vouchers in the shopping cart - this allows the customer to identify and correct any input errors before placing the order. After selecting the payment method, entering the customer's personal data and confirming these terms and conditions, the customer can check all entries for accuracy before ordering and change them again if necessary. By clicking the "order with payment" button, the customer accepts the offer. The customer is then sent a contract confirmation by email, in which all relevant order data is summarized.
- PURCHASING AND REDEMPTION OF VOUCHERS
3.1. The purchase of vouchers via https://www.philharmoniesalzburg.at/ or https://www.kinderfestspiele.com/ is reserved exclusively for consumers aged 14 and over and entrepreneurs. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose that cannot be attributed to a commercial or independent professional activity. The use and utilization of the website and the purchase of vouchers for commercial purposes (in particular the trading and commercial resale of vouchers) or for purposes that serve an independent professional activity is not permitted. In this case, the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival has the right to withdraw from the contract, whereby a processing fee of twice the contract value (voucher value) is agreed, which is due immediately to the Salzburg Philharmonic/Children's Festival.3. 2. An order on the website can only be placed in German. All relevant data must be provided completely and truthfully.3. 3. - PRICES, PAYMENT, DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
4.1 All prices quoted are final prices and include value added tax or sales tax. The vouchers ordered can be paid for using the payment methods offered up to an order value of 300 EURO. There is a minimum order value of 5 EURO.
4.2. For delivery of the vouchers by Österreichische Post AG, the customer must pay the shipping costs of 5 EURO stated on the portal. If you pay by bank transfer, delivery will take place after the transfer amount has been received in the specified bank account. If you pay by credit card, your order will be dispatched on the same day during business hours. The vouchers will be delivered and sent by post within 5 days of receipt of payment to the address specified in the order. Deliveries are only possible to addresses within Austria. Compensation for delayed or non-delivery is excluded except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Salzburg Philharmonic / Children's Festival.
- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL/RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
REFUND POLICY
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, as long as the voucher has not yet been redeemed. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you takes possession of the vouchers. You must return the vouchers to us by registered mail immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you notify us that you have cancelled this contract. This deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
