The annual Berg:Klassik concert with the Salzburg Philharmonic offers a unique concert experience at over 2000 meters above sea level. On the summit of the "Kleine Scharte" in Bad Hofgastein, surrounded by breathtaking nature, you can enjoy a musical treat in a class of its own. The concert opens with Smetana's symphonic poem Vltava, which transforms the power and beauty of the Czech river into intoxicating sounds. Dvořák's famous symphony From the New World transports you to the vastness of America with powerful melodies and rhythmic energy. Another highlight of the evening: Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto with soloist Ferran Bardolet, which deals with the melancholy and emotional world of the post-war period. A concert that touches the soul and becomes an unforgettable experience in the heights of the mountains!
