Following the magnificent debut of the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra at the Elbphilharmonie in 2025, which was marked by standing ovations, the orchestra will return to Hamburg in October 2026 at the invitation of the venue. This time, the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra, together with its principal conductor Elisabeth Fuchs , will present Fuchs powerful and colorful program that opens up worlds of drama, depth, and wanderlust. Beethoven'sEgmont Overture will provide a festive start to the concert evening, followed by Brahms' Third Symphony, which, with its dense motifs and warm sound language, is one of the composer's most personal works. The concert concludes with Dvořák's Ninth Symphony, From the New World, which transports the audience to late 19th-century America. With this glittering program, the Salzburg Philharmonic continues its celebrated debut in one of Europe's most renowned concert halls.
