New Year's Eve and New Year's concerts
Ring in the New Year with the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra! A festive atmosphere and top-notch entertainment are guaranteed when the orchestra presents its varied program, ranging from Mozart's radiant Jupiter Symphony to Bizet's rousing Farandole and opera sounds by Rossini and Suppè. Young violinist Margarita Pochebut will provide solo highlights on December 31 in Zell am See, while on January 5, Show Your Talent winner Elina Laszloffy will shine on the cello. Works by Johann Strauss will provide Viennese charm and a danceable finale, during which the audience is welcome to get up and dance.
