L. BOULANGER - "D'un matin de printemps"
C. SCHUMANN - Concerto for piano and orchestra, A minor, op. 7
E. MAYER - "Faust Overture", op. 46
R. SCHUMANN - Concerto for piano and orchestra, A minor, op. 54

During the Schumann couple's lifetime, it was Clara who first achieved fame as a celebrated child prodigy and later as a successful concert pianist. She wrote the first sketches for her piano concerto at the age of thirteen, and three years later it was premiered under the direction of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The renowned piano virtuoso Olga Scheps touches and inspires with her interpretation of Clara's composition - as well as with the piano concerto by Clara's husband Robert. The two works will be accompanied by two shorter compositions by the French composer Lili Boulanger and the German composer Emilie Mayer.
