The start of the annual Klassik:Sommer in Bad Hofgastein attracts audiences with classical masterpieces and surprising soloists. The concert opens with Mozart's Haffner Symphony, which captivates with its lightness and elegance. The first movement of his 12th piano concerto will then be presented by 7-year-old Hemma Bach, who is not only a pianist but also a composer. An excerpt from her own composition Prinzessin Dreckfuß can be heard as an encore. Emese Wilhelmy performs Beethoven's dramatic 3rd Piano Concerto as a glittering finale, followed by the world-famous, atmospheric 1st movement of his Moonlight Sonata.
