Noël à Paris with Maria Bill
From Maurice Ravel to Édith Piaf
In the future, it will no longer be possible to mention Edith Piaf without thinking of Maria Bill at the same time.

This concert experience is dedicated to the musical diversity of France in the 20th century. Maurice Ravel's Le Tombeau de Couperin, composed in 1914, opens the evening and transports the audience into a world of French elegance with its dance-like verve, virtuoso sounds, and sophisticated instrumental effects.
Then it's curtain up for the great voice of French chanson: Édith Piaf. Her legend lives on, her songs full of intensity, joie de vivre, and love. Embodied by Maria Bill, who impressively brings Piaf's passion, uncompromising nature, and her search for love and recognition to life, together with her musicians and the Salzburg Philharmonic, a spirited, touching concert experience full of longing, hope, and inner fire is created.
