Who was Ludwig van Beethoven, whose music continues to inspire people around the world to this day? As one of the most famous composers of all time, his work broke the musical boundaries of his era, even though he gradually lost his hearing and eventually became deaf. In this age-appropriate family concert, children get to know Beethoven in an exciting, humorous, and touching way: his dreams, his struggles, and the power of his music, which continues to move people and connect them in a special way to this day. With the Ode to Joy, he created a melody, or rather a hymn, that still stands for freedom, solidarity, and humanity today: All people become brothers where your gentle wings dwell!
