Salzburg Philharmonic Choir

Initiative registration for the Salzburg Philharmonic Choir

Vielen Dank!

Concert attire is specified in the respective rehearsal schedule.

Für alle Konzerte gilt grundsätzlich:

This applies to all projects:

Participation is only possible if all concerts of a project can be sung.

For example, it is not possible not to sing at an afternoon concert and only sing at the evening concert due to work commitments.

Even though we are pleased about the great interest and personal congratulations, due to the high volume of e-mails from many hundreds of singers, we ask that only really important e-mails be sent to us () and provide them with a meaningful (!) subject line. Examples:

  • Please delete [name] from the mailing list
  • Change of contact details [Name]

That helps us a lot. Thank you very much!

Depending on the project, a written cancellation is only required from the second or third absence (see information in the respective rehearsal schedule!!), please do not send us a message before that. This will help us to reduce the volume of mail. Please use a meaningful subject ("Sick note/absence [name] at rehearsal on [xx]"). Please note: Attendance at orchestra and dress rehearsals is compulsory without exception!

Also: If you are absent from a rehearsal, please ask other choir members about what has been discussed musically and organizationally. With so many choir members, we are very happy when you take responsibility for your own activities 🙂

We rely on common sense and collegial consideration: please do not come to the rehearsal if you feel ill, cough, sneeze or sniffle heavily or are otherwise contagious. However, you are welcome to attend a rehearsal wearing a mask, for example, just to listen and take notes if you wish. If you are absent from a rehearsal, please ask other choir members about what was discussed musically and organizationally. With so many choir members, we are very happy when you take responsibility 🙂

Yes, the same rules apply to everyone. For sick notes/absence from rehearsals, see the entry "Sick notes/absence from rehearsals" above.
