The Kinder- & Jugendphilharmonie Salzburg is an orchestra founded by the Philharmonie Salzburg and conductor Elisabeth Fuchs in 2022. It is aimed at music-loving children and young people aged 7 to 18 who would like to gain their first orchestral experience.
The focus is on having fun and enjoying making music together as well as regular, professional rehearsals. Three orchestra projects take place each year, each with a big final concert.

The Kinder- & Jugendphilharmonie is financed exclusively by donations, sponsors, entrance fees and the contribution to expenses made by participants. The annual budget is €75,000.
