The Salzburg Children's & Youth Philharmonic Orchestra was Fuchs in 2022 by the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Elisabeth Fuchs to give young music enthusiasts access to orchestral music-making. Children and young people aged 7 to 18 gain their first orchestral experience here, develop musical skills, and experience the special power of making music together.
Joy, enthusiasm, and professional rehearsals form the basis of our projects, each of which culminates in a grand final concert.
The Children's & Youth Philharmonic Orchestra is financed exclusively through donations, sponsors, admission fees, and contributions from participants toward expenses. The annual budget is €75,000. Private support is therefore essential to our work.
