Every stage of life, every decision shapes you. I'm a curious and open-minded person, I've done a lot of nonsense in my life and I've often enjoyed letting my hair down. Nevertheless, I don't regret anything and I have music as an outlet to process and compensate for everything I've experienced.

Alpine folk music and world music meet classical symphonic music. Herbert Pixner has shown for many years that this is possible without any clichés. Now there is the next artistic expansion: for the concerts together with the Philharmonie Salzburg, some of Herbert Pixner's pieces will be arranged for large choir for the first time and premiered in the Großes Festspielhaus. The unmistakable style and infectious improvisational spirit of the Herbert Pixner Project will merge with the power of 200 singers.
