An entertaining evening serenade in the open air, light and airy: the characteristics of the "serenade" genre, which originated in the 15th century, guarantee an enjoyable concert evening. The Philharmonie Salzburg performs three serenades, from Leonard Bernstein to Edgar Elgar and P. I. Tchaikovsky. The evening's soloist is the top-class violinist Alina Pogostkina, known for her "heart-wrenching performances" (Hamburger Abendblatt) and her touching tone.
