Best of Hollywood meets Smetana's Moldau
Program music then and now

At the concert for schoolchildren conducted by Elisabeth Fuchs, the young listeners experience an entire symphony orchestra on the stage of the Großes Festspielhaus with the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will be presented by the conductor herself, who will convey the theme of "program music" in an exciting way and build a bridge from the past to the present. Classical works such as Smetana's symphonic poem The Moldau and Dvořák's Slavonic Dance No. 7 will be performed, as well as plenty of film music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones, Mission Impossible, James Bond, Titanic and many more to create a great atmosphere in the concert hall.

Age recommendation: 12-19 years

Ticket prices: 28 € for adults / 14 € for young people, accompanying persons (max. 2 per class) free with discount code.

Help with booking tickets for school classes in the store: Please book the seats for your pupils and 1 or 2 accompanying persons in the store. At the bottom of the shopping cart/order overview, enter either 1Teacher free or 2Teacher free in the RABATTCODE field. 14 € or 28 € (thank you for your honesty) will be deducted automatically.

Payment according to actual student numbers: Payment is made by bank transfer AFTER the concert, you will receive an order confirmation after the booking has been completed (but please do NOT pay the amount yet). In order to avoid possible refunds, you will receive an invoice for the number of students actually present AFTER the concert. We will send you the tickets by e-mail within 2 working days of booking.

Absence/illness: In the event of absences within the normal range (1-3 young people per class) of students, PLEASE send us a short e-mail on the day of the concert to with "We were only x students instead of registered y students." We will then change the number so that you only receive an invoice for the students present. If many more students are unable to attend, please send us an e-mail in good time so that we can enable students on the waiting list to attend the concert. THANK YOU!)

Cancellation: You can cancel the booking for the entire class free of charge until 30.11.2023 (6 weeks before the event).
