Good news for the Philharmonie Salzburg's music education projects at the start of the Children's Festival Week (press release from 19.06.2024)

350 workshops and 24 orchestral concerts for 3 to 12-year-olds will be held on Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" from today until July 3. Marlene Engelhorn's "Good Council for Redistribution" supports the Children's Festival and the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra. With this financial contribution, the Council wishes to express its appreciation for the initiatives and commitment of the two associations.

The resurrection of a music legend: A Symphonic Tribute to Queen (press release from 03.05.2024)

The completely sold-out premiere of "A Symphonic Tribute to Queen" took place yesterday evening at the Grosses Festspielhaus Salzburg. A total of over 10,000 tickets were sold for the crossover program by Elisabeth Fuchs and the Philharmonie Salzburg. The Austrian "Queen of Pop" Monika Ballwein and musical star Philipp Büttner shone as vocal soloists, while the large choir of the Philharmonie provided support with 200 selected voices.
