As has been reported in many media outlets, the renowned Salzburg pianist, singer and composer Sabina Hank has run into financial difficulties. In order to help her musician friend in these difficult times, Elisabeth Fuchs and the Philharmonie Salzburg have spontaneously decided to organize a fundraising concert entitled "SABINA HANK SYMPHONIC" in the Great University Hall on Sunday, 16 November 2025. The net proceeds will go directly to the artist.

The multi-award-winning jazz pianist, singer and composer Sabina Hank is a much sought-after guest at international jazz festivals and has already worked with music greats such as Willi Resetarits, Benjamin Schmid, Reinhold Bilgeri, Josef Hader and Bob Mintzer. Concerto magazine has aptly described Hank as the "Austrian answer to Norah Jones". Nevertheless, the freelance musician has slipped into insolvency as a result of the Covid pandemic and personal strokes of fate and has lost her home in Salzburger Land. "We are very touched by this," says conductor Elisabeth Fuchs. "Sabina Hank is a great artist with whom we have already worked several times. We want to help and perhaps make a small contribution to a new beginning. Female musicians stick together!"
Elisabeth Fuchs and the Philharmonie Salzburg have therefore asked Sabina Hank to perform a very special concert: an evening with Sabina Hank, for Sabina Hank. Under the title "SABINA HANK SYMPHONIC", a best-of of Sabina Hank's own compositions and wonderful symphonic arrangements, also written by the artist, will be brought to the stage of the Great University Hall on the evening of November 16.
The net proceeds of the event and all donations in connection with this fundraising concert will go directly to Sabina Hank.
