Mozart's Requiem & Schumann's 4th Symphony in front of a sold-out audience twice (press release from 07.04.2023)

Under the direction of Elisabeth Fuchs , the choir and orchestra of the Philharmonie Salzburg performed what is probably the world's most famous requiem mass with great success in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum, which was completely sold out twice. Maria Bernius, Katrin Auzinger, Paul Schweinester and Johannes Wimmer shone and harmonized as the vocal soloists.

25 years of the Philharmonie Salzburg - It has been around for a quarter of a century now - the Philharmonie Salzburg, which has been shaking up the cultural landscape of the city of Mozart since 1998 and has long been an integral part of Salzburg's arts scene. Founded in 1998 by the then 22-year-old Elisabeth Fuchs as the "Junge Philharmonie Salzburg" (until 2011), the orchestra initially only played two concerts a year.
