Pirates have captured the ship of the Spanish nobleman Belmonte! Belmonte's bride Konstanze and her servant Blondchen have been kidnapped and must now endure life as slaves in Bassa Selim's palace. Will the brave Belmonte manage to outwit Selim's fierce servant Osmin to free them, or will the story take an unexpected turn? Mozart's comic opera is performed and sung in this family concert in a child-friendly way and with a twinkle in the eye.
