The Children's & Youth Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Elisabeth Fuchs gave its big summer concert in the Salzburgarena on Friday evening in front of over 600 visitors. The completely sold-out premiere of "A Symphonic Tribute to Queen" took place yesterday evening at the Grosses Festspielhaus Salzburg. A total of over 10,000 tickets were sold for the crossover program by Elisabeth Fuchs and the Philharmonie Salzburg. The Austrian "Queen of Pop" Monika Ballwein and musical star Philipp Büttner shone as vocal soloists, while the large choir of the Philharmonie provided support with 200 selected voices.
