The Philharmonie Salzburg at the amfAR Gala 2025

On August 24, 2025, the baroque Residenz Salzburg will become the stage for a social and artistic event in a class of its own: the first Austrian amfAR Gala will take place - curated by LIFE+ and Gery Keszler, produced with a top-class team of international artists, fashion icons and local cultural institutions.

The gala will not only feature Philipp Hochmair with a short homage to his celebrated "Jedermann" at the Salzburg Residenz. Karl Markovics and Cornelius Obonya are also strong characters who lend the evening dramatic depth. Musically, the program ranges from Günther Groissböck's powerful bass to Lidia Baich on Mozart's legendary Costa violin, who builds bridges between times with elegance. The Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra provides the orchestral framework. And last but not least, Deleila Piasko, Sunnyi Melles and Kathleen Morgeneyer tell of change, vision and self-empowerment in a changing cast.
