The son of Zeus is the greatest of all Greek heroes. Herukles is more adventurous than anyone else and is so strong that he even defeats gods in one-on-one combat. Hercules would be something like Superman in the present day, because his twelve heroic deeds still stand for tasks that no normal mortal can master.
