An unusually young and lively audience filled the impressive concert hall of the Grosses Festspielhaus on Thursday morning: with the support of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, Elisabeth Fuchs and the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra organized a rousing classical music concert for teenagers at the beginning of 2025.

The Philharmonie Salzburg and Elisabeth Fuchs together with the Tyrolean singing wonder Reena Winters provided a lively start to the Christmas holidays on the fourth weekend of Advent. The varied and atmospheric program delighted the concert audience in the Great University Hall, which was sold out twice.
The Philharmonie Salzburg under chief conductor Elisabeth Fuchs performed Handel's baroque masterpiece in the original English version with great success in the Mozarteum Great Hall. Sixty choristers from the Philharmonie Salzburg accompanied the solo roles sung by Elisabeth Breuer, Christa Ratzenböck, Bernhard Berchtold and Máté Herczeg.
Elisabeth Fuchs, chief conductor and artistic and commercial director of the Philharmonie Salzburg, presented her personal approach to the topic in a public lecture on November 17 in the Great University Hall: "Conducting and leading! - Motivating?"

On October 5 and 6, Elisabeth Fuchs and the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra performed Tchaikovsky's famous Nutcracker Suite and Borodin's Polovtsian Dances in the Great University Hall. The center of attention, however, was the performance of pan flutist Andreea Chira, who impressed with the expressiveness and versatility of her instrument.
