Zsuzsanna Kiss, violinist, singer, choir director, and music teacher was born in Hungary and has been living in Salzburg for over 20 years. The first musical impressions - Hungarian folk music - come from their homeland, Oroshaza and Szentendre. She started learning the piano, recorder and violin at the age of 8. She received her first music lessons in her hometown Szentendre, in the "Vujicsics Tihamer" music school. In the years 1994-1999 she studied violin as a main subject in Budapest - in the "Bela Bartok Conservatory" - began her vocal training and received lessons in choral conducting. In 1999 a big dream of her childhood came true when she was allowed to continue her musical studies in Salzburg, the beautiful city of Mozart, after graduating from high school. In 2008 she received her master's degree in violin with a focus on chamber music. She also successfully completed a bachelor's degree (instrumental vocal pedagogy) with a major in classical violin with a focus on jazz and popular music (singing and violin). Since 2009 she has been working as a freelance musician, singer and music teacher.

She has conducted five mixed choirs in the past 10 years. This year she is celebrating her 15th anniversary with her jazz ensemble "Trio Exquisit". She plays and sings with many music groups in various formations, from vocal/violin-piano duo to string quartet to symphonic Orchestra (Austria/Philharmonie Salzburg, Franz Lehar Orchestra, in Germany/Bad Reichenhaller Philharmoniker and with various project orchestras as tutti violinist and concertmaster). Since 2005 she has been a co-founder, concertmaster and solo singer of the Austria Festival Symphony Orchestra.

She has been a music teacher for 20 years. She gave her first music lessons in Hungary in the subjects violin, string ensemble, solfeggio, music theory and music history. In the last 10 years she has taken her violin and singing students (in various music and singing schools in Austria and Germany, in workshops and private lessons) to renowned competitions, successful auditions and auditions for recordings at music colleges and conservatories in Germany, England and allowed to accompany France.

In 2022 she received the Bronze Medal of Merit from the Salzburg Choral Association for her outstanding musical achievements in choral life.

From autumn 2022 she will work as a violin teacher at the music school in Berchtesgaden.
