Salzburg Winds is an international woodwind quintet with top-class musicians from Japan, Poland and Austria. The five musicians have been playing together in various formations for almost 10 years and decided to found the Salzburg Winds ensemble in 2018. Since then, they have been invited to perform in Innsbruck, Bad St. Leonhard, Radstadt and at the Bad Hofgastein Chamber Music Festival.
With a varied repertoire - from Viennese classical and romantic music to music from the 20th century and Latin American sounds - the quintet delights its audience.
The members play as freelancers in renowned orchestras such as the Philharmonie Salzburg, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Tonkünstler Orchester Niederösterreich, the Tiroler Symphonieorchester Innsbruck, the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Concert tours in Austria and Japan are planned for the coming year.
